Senate Bill 26-015 would impose a mandatory minimum prison sentence of four years for offenses that involve commercial sexual activity with a child.

Former Littleton teacher sentenced for sexual exploitation of a child
Predator was first arrested in May 2025 after a Safe2Tell report accused him of sending partially clothed Snapchat photos to female students and asking them to keep the conversations secret from their parents.

Former STEM School Teacher Sentenced for Sexual Exploitation of a Child
A former teacher at STEM School Highlands Ranch, was sentenced to 14 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections. 

Police find missing 14-year-old girl in Colorado; alleged gang member pimp sentenced.
A 23-year-old Aurora man was recently sentenced to prison after police found a 14-year-old girl working on his behalf on East Colfax Avenue.

Denver man gets 16 years for trafficking minor
Gabriel Anthony Peterson, 28, was arrested in November 2024 and pleaded guilty in December to a charge of human trafficking of a minor, according to a news release from Denver District Attorney John Walsh.
