Volunteer Positions

Content Creator

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, engaging educational content focused on child safety, online risks, and trafficking prevention (articles, blog posts, newsletters, video,scripts).
  • Translate research, data, and community updates into parent- and leader-friendly content.
  • Collaborate with CFA leadership to align content with awareness campaigns and training programs.
  • Support storytelling efforts by highlighting community impact, events, and partnerships.
  • Ensure content reflects CFA’s mission, voice, and values.

Knowledge of Canva Preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Manage CFA’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) to increase awareness, engagement, and reach across Colorado communities.
  • Create and schedule posts that promote education, events, training opportunities, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and foster a positive, informative online presence.
  • Track basic performance metrics and adjust content strategy to improve visibility and impact.
  • Coordinate with the Content Creator to repurpose articles and resources for social platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the CFA website to ensure content is current, accurate, and easy to navigate.
  • Publish new pages, articles, events, and resources in coordination with CFA programs and campaigns.
  • Ensure the website supports clear calls to action (training requests, donations, contact forms).
  • Monitor site performance, functionality, and basic SEO best practices.
  • Serve as the point person for technical updates, plugins, and platform troubleshooting.

WordPress and Elementor knowledge preferred

Prayer Coordinator
Lead or participate in prayer efforts focused on healing, justice, and protection for victims, survivors, and first responders.

County Coordinator
Be a boots-on-the-ground leader in your community. Organize events, recruit local volunteers, and spread awareness in your county.

Adult Awareness & Education Presenter
Deliver CFA’s adult-focused education programs in churches, schools, and community settings. Perfect for volunteers passionate about child safety, online exploitation, and protecting families. You’ll be trained by CFA leaders to present compelling sessions that inform, inspire, and activate adults to join the fight against child trafficking.

Power of Art Teacher
Facilitate healing through creativity. In this unique role, you’ll lead art-based workshops that help children and survivors reclaim their voice, process trauma, and rebuild identity. Volunteers will be trained by Visionary School of Arts to deliver this restorative, faith-centered program with compassion and confidence.

School Liaison
Be a point person for CFA’s school-based prevention efforts, As a School Liaison, you’ll represent CFA in your local school community, build trusted relationships with educators, and distribute our Don’t Take the Bait peer-to-peer video lessons. Ideal for volunteers ready to lead with purpose and help students recognize and resist online exploitation.

Event Volunteer
Assist with event logistics—from setup and registration to hospitality and community outreach. Perfect for friendly, service-minded individuals.

Fundraising & Campaign Support
Join a fundraising committee or host an awareness event in your area. Help fund vital prevention programs and survivor care.

Responsibilities:

Help pitch stories to media outlets, write press releases, and grow awareness through strategic PR efforts.

Tech & IT Support
Behind-the-scenes heroes needed to help build secure and scalable systems for our mission to grow statewide.

Administrative / Financial Support
Support the day-to-day operations of our nonprofit. Help with budgeting, bookkeeping, donor management, and more.
