Upcoming “Day of Defense” Empowers Families to
Recognize and Prevent Exploitation
Highlands Ranch, CO — A new nonprofit, Colorado Faith Alliance (CFA), has launched with a bold mission: to end child exploitation and trafficking in Colorado through education, prevention, advocacy, prayer, and strategic partnerships. Event Highlights Include:
- For Teens and Youth: Presentation from online safety & digital defense led by Florida State Advocate of the Year, Lynne Barletta
- For Moms and Kids: Self-defense demonstrations for kids taught by Sr. Martial Arts World Champion Tyler Weaver, Sr.
- For Parents and Families-Prevention tools for communities, and educators so they can recognize warning signs of trafficking and grooming, decrypt kids text and understand what happens in secret rooms on gaming platforms
Importantly, Colorado ranks among the top states for reported trafficking activity, which makes the organization’s work especially timely and necessary.
