SB25-201 Requires Age Checks for Online Sexual Materials
Colorado Faith Alliance (CFA) is urging lawmakers to advance Senate Bill 25-01, legislation that would require age verification for websites that publish sexually explicit material. The organization believes the measure is an important step toward protecting children from early exposure to harmful online content. See CFA Opinion
The bill, which was delayed last year for further review, is expected to return to the Colorado Senate agenda in July 2026. If passed, SB25-01 would require platforms hosting explicit material to implement safeguards preventing minors from accessing that content.
